The Ultamite Guide to Self Tanning

Steps, repeat weekly:

Night before-

  1. Shave

  2. Exfoliate

  3. Moisturize with body lotion

Day of-

  1. Rinse with just water

  2. Apply body tan mouse with rubber gloves

  3. Apply on hands and feet

  4. Mix face drops with moisturizer

  5. Let sit for recomneded time

  6. Rinse off with water

Aftercare:

  1. Shorter showers

  2. Gradual tan lotion as body moisurizer after shower

  3. Add a couple drops of face tan every night or every other night (less than you do on weekly reset)


Pro tips:

  • rubber gloves= smoother, less streaky tan, won't absorb

  • Gradual tan lotion to maintain moisture, avoid cracks, and maintain color

  • Tan once a week for best results

  • Day of don’t exfoliate shave or anything, tan will appear streaky

  • When tanning make sure all jewelry is off

  • Match your tan to undertones, and try for a more bronzed as opposed to orange one, we’re going for Florida beach vacation not Tropicana factory

  • Apply one layer, let it dry, then go in for second if needed, might need to work our way up to that

  • Make sure you’re applying in circular motions until skin has absorbed tan

  • Get everywhere! Neck, shoulders, back of legs, ears even! Don’t focus on elbows though, that area should hopefully get left overs of arms

  • For face I recommend a face oil/moisturized with 4-6 tanning drops and take half a drop and pat on cheek bones/forehead area with fingers

  • When appplying on face start right where roots of hair meet face and apply to neck as well

  • Let dry, or sleep in it and when washed off rinse with water only
